A while ago I made this beautiful wall décor (or front door décor) and created a short TikTok video on it and it's gotten

96K views so far! Super thankful for that!!

I thought I would take a few minutes and walk you through the project and give you my tips and tricks.

Below is my TikTok video on how to make the Dollar Tree pizza pan wreath. Check it out and then continue reading to see my tips and tricks!

Here are the supplies I used for this project:

  • pizza pan (Dollar Tree)

  • skewers (Dollar Tree)

  • letter (Walmart)

  • rope (Dollar Tree)

  • flowers/greenery (Dollar Tree)

  • black chalk paint

  • hot glue/hot glue gun (LOVE the Gorilla Glue hot glue sticks)

  • scissors (or something to cut the skewers)

Below I included some of my affiliate links in Amazon to similar products (in case you are an online shopper :)

PAINTING THE PIZZA PAN

The first thing I did was paint the outer edge of the pizza pan with black chalk paint. Chalk paint, as opposed to acrylic paint, works well for surfaces like this pizza pan. No need to paint the whole pan since we are going to be covering it up with the skewers. Save yourself some paint and time! Apply two coats of paint.

APPLYING THE SKEWERS

I wanted my skewers to go in two directions so I found the middle of the pizza pan and worked from there. I hot glued the skewer in the middle. For the rest of the skewers going in the same directions I just measured them up against the pan and cut them to size with a pair of garden sheers from Dollar Tree. It's ok if the skewers are not cut exactly to the end of the pan because we will be covering that up with rope.

***I found that it works best to apply the hot glue to the pan instead of to the skewer. ***

Once I finished the vertical skewers, I found the halfway mark for where I wanted to lay the skewers horizontally. I cut the skewer to size and lay them down and I laid them down as before.

APPLYING THE ROPE

Super easy step...….I started the rope at the top so the ends would be covered by my flowers. Apply a few inches of hot glue and put down your rope. I continued this until I reached back to the top.

ATTACHING THE FLOWERS/LETTER

This part is super simple too! Arrange your greenery/flowers/bow as you wish and hot glue! Add a generous amount of hot glue to your monogram letter and place it where you want!

ADDING THE HANGAR

You have two choices here....

  1. You can drill some holes and feed your rope through.

  2. You can hot glue the rope to the back of your pan (LOTS of hot glue).

That's it! You're done! This project takes some time, but really is quite simple!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and please feel free to leave any kind of feedback! I'd greatly appreciate it.
